Frustrating problem. Haven't encountered this.

After going through post processing and then trying to upload a photo, SmugMug tells me it can't upload the file because it is not a jpeg, but it is. I can upload to other sites like Photobucket just fine (same image). I have verified that I am not inadvertently saving the file as a TIFF or a PSD file. Any ideas? :dunno

Edit: These files were converted to a jpeg from RAW using Photoshop CS2.

    make sure the extension is .jpg? And is it less than 48 megapixels (file dimensions) and 16megabytes (pro) or 8megabytes (std and power)?

    Hello Andy. Thanks for responding so quickly. The extension is indeed .jpg. The file is named cattle_egret5_a.jpg. It is about 9mb. Lately, this is happening to others as well. I'm not sure what is going on.

    As I said, the limit for power users (your level) is 8mb. Get it under 8mb please, and it will upload just fine thumb.gifhttp://www.smugmug.com/help/upload-photos
