Well, I wasn't really sure if these should be in the Big Picture forum or here. I'm sure the Skipster will kick me out if I don't belong. : So, over Easter I was bored, but the weather wasn't behaving, it had snowed the day before and it was still cold and super windy. Well the birdies were hiding so I took a peep out and TRIED to set him in some certain locations. It sorta worked.
First though - Peach Tree
Pear Tree
Daffodil -
Pansy -
What's this?!?! A peep!
Where do peeps live? In birdhouses of course!
Lulu spies a peep (I didn't realize this was wonky until just now...will rotate)
And, Ruby with the Peep:

Great shots.

Thanks Marina!! Nope, I didn't build the Peep house, that's an old bird house that has seen better days. I made sure it was empty before I put the peep in the hole, I didn't want any disgruntled birdies!
Thanks Awais, I that little house too. :
Haha, thanks! I used a special fertilizer to give the peeps that nice pink glow. You know, you're right though most farmers in Calvert do not grow tobacco anymore. Soy beans are still a big deal, but the real money is in corn especially with the increase in popularity of Enthanol fuel. I wonder if we'll change our flag? I did think that the state quarter should have had a crab smoking a cigarette and drinking a beer, but apparently the powers that be thought the state house was more appropriate?

Haha, thanks Skippy : Yeah Peeps are marshmellowy goodness with a sugary coating. They're quite addictive even if you don't like marshmellows (which I don't). They're actually quite hard to take photos of they really mess with exposure!
I can't wait to cause trouble in Canada and Montana. You going to ask for that powdered custard?
hehe, thanks Jill!
