Just beautiful! I like the way the sand in the foreground leads you into the shot. The sand has it's own interesting shadows and texture along with the majesty of the clouds.

I would never take this picture! the footprinted dunes remind me of a dirty closet, having said that you must realise that I am usually looking to clean up nature when taking pictures. I found this image compelling though I figured it was the footprints, but after some time realized that it is the discombobulated scale that I enjoy! Yes I made up that word. The people are smaller than those on the second island of Gulliver's Travels. Ya know when he pulls all their ships away to save them from certain dume. The people really become small from the taken angle and next to the grasses on the horrizon.
Marc I used to live in Pyrenees / France just beside a national parc and I always prefer very wild and clean places,
as you say on this dune all is disturbed by humans, I enjoyed to show them in their real size
