Hi You'll,

Yeah I know this ain't a bird but Dee asked for Florida pics of stuff other than birds and this is what I saw when I opened my garage doors. It was a good way to start the morning. If you don't like the pic it's Dee's fault.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    the Little Blue Heron

As Andy says "its all about the food". The Little Blue Heron has better table manners btw.

I love seeing where you live, Harry. We so rarely get the glorious sunsets/sunrises in this cul de sac where I live. I have no idea that beauty is going on in the rest of the world. I have been amazed this last year since I have been getting out.

That is wonderful that you see a sunrise like that. The last time I did see that there was a sunset like that was last week, when I still had my camera, I chased it all the way to the creek, where it promptly was gone.

Love the bird, too. My table manners would be impeccable if that were my breakfast. Whatever that means, I would not touch it.

I put up a single "cattle" bird photo for you a bit ago. Glad you had a good morning.

    Hey Ginger,

Besides birds Florida has stupendous sunrises and sunsets. My favorite time of the day is sunset when I sit by my pool and watch the sunset over the conservation land in the back of my house. There's a new show every night.

Love the sunrise and that lil Blue Heron is very nice. As for better table manners, eating worms isn't as sloppy as eating ribs :lol

    Hey Dee,

Now that I don't have to go to work I'm up before sunrise everyday . Most days anyhow, it depends on my Corona consumption. :slosh

    Glad you enjoyed the pics.

Thanks Steve. I want you to look at the eyes on the Little Blue Heron and then compare them to Andy's eyes in your pic. They have the same expression. The heron is saying "mess with my worm and I'll kill you". Andy's eyes are saying "take a rib and I'll pull your lungs out through your navel". lol3.gif

Gosh thank you for the kind word. I love shooting birds because its the most challenging photography I've done. Its a thrill when you nail a shot.

Ah, jealousy! So sad to see. I would have you know that dinner is at 4 and breakfast is at 5. This way I'm free to view our spectacular sunrise and sunsets. I take a siesta between 1 and 3 when the light is harsh. This enables me to stay up until 9 PM to enjoy out wild local nightlife and still have time for a dip in the ole hot tub after watching the news and seeing the Northeast battered by winter storms. biggrinbounce2.gifbiggrinbounce2.gifbiggrinbounce2.gif
