I have been a part of this forum for a while now and never posted. Good Friday I lost my little 6 year old cockatiel to a heart attack. He was just the sweetest bunch of feathers that ever existed. In addition to being a great pal, he served as my model many times as I gained experience with my Nikon D80. He never complained or asked for residuals. I will miss him a great deal but did want to share his picture with everyone.

So sorry also, Ray. I have my sons cockatiel here for this year, I also have been so involved with birding and shooting photos of birds. This is the first time I realized what different personalities they have, and each has their own way with us. Even the wild ones I grew attached to.

The one we have here is fiesty, grumpy sometimes, sweet and has such sparkling character, I often wonder how my son will handle a loss of him. We really get attached! Some people just don't understand that.

I just want you to know I do. And I know how missed they can be.

    Thank you to all
Thanks to everyone for your condolences. Sorry my first post was such a sad one but I felt I had to show off my little pride and joy even though he's gone now.
