Cool, Thusie!!! Love that Osprey coming and going. I have never seen one carry a fish so big.

Uh, re blown highlights, they were not noticeable to me on the Osprey 2, until it was mentioned.

But remember I always paint my blown highlights w a tad of a near neutral color (diluted)!!! These guys here jump on the numbers 255, like they were unnatural or something.

(my egret came back a little white, too.) Personally I think it is the weather some of us are having. Might have to do with Global warming, maybe 255 will become the new norm!

    Smile!!!

    Love your post, thusie,

    Hi Ric,

I was out on a ledge above the water quite a few feet, probably 20' above the nesting platform shooting out..Didn't look down since I'm rather scared of heights.

    Thanks G

Very nice series, Thusie! Great detail in the 2nd shot of the claws with a death-grip on that fish! (pretty good fisherman that osprey is!) I like the shot of the swan....so beautiful and graceful. :saurora

Sweet series! That opening Osprey is outstanding, and the second makes me wonder how the heck he got airborn with that whale in his talons! Nicely done!

This kind of angle makes for a more pleasing shot IMO.nod.gif
