Well, here in Minnesota we have the migrators on the move and thankfully stopped here for a bit before going further north. Some of the species I haven't seen for like 20 years since hunting days.

A common (but very big) Mallard

    All nice, David.thumb.gif

I like the "King of the roost" shot best. It has a real nice feel to it.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Lovely series. The first time I saw a buffle head was through my lens. Mine turned out like little fuzzy specks in the shots though. :D You really know how to capture these birds.clap.gif

Great job of shooting from an interesting perspective throughout! I really like the buffles, and the redheads are gorgeous too.

The last 1 1/2 hour of daylight with the sun setting in the west illuminating the reeds on the opposite shoreline....we call it GOLDEN LIGHT.......sometimes better than beer even rolleyes1.gif
