I don't get this often....Male and Female House Finch together in 1 frame!
Not quite ready for luv but hunting! (Male is very bright red when it's time to romp!) :D
These Guys are constant visitors to my feeders and clean me out quick year round.
Taken about 75ft away in my Neighbors Lilac bush next to my house.
Sigy 80-400mm again both shots 60% crop.
Taken only a few min ago 10:30am.

    Thanx Guys.
I tried a Mockingbird when I had my EF 75-300 USM III and it came out terrible.
Every year this Guy comes back to the same tree for his daily mimick.
So this year I was ready....definately worth it to invest in good glass!

Great shots! How is that CS3 working out for you? What's new from CS2?

Those male finches can really be handsome birds. The reds on them sometimes seem to rival that of a male cardinal. Nice capture. I am seeing more my migrators around here too. For example, the Scissor Tailed Flycatcheres are all over the place.

Only had it for a few days but this is what they claim are reasons to upgrade.....
    • Smart Filters
    • Quick Selection and Refine Edge tools
    • Advanced compositing
    • Streamlined interface
    • Better raw image processing
    • Improved Adobe Bridge
    • Enhanced Vanishing Point
    • Enhanced 32-bit HDR support
    • Peak performance
    • Black-and-white conversion
I use LightRoom as a frontend to it and so far I like it.
Haven't really done a lot with it yet tho.

Thanks for the info G! I was looking into upgrading, but not yet, the price will put a dent on my savings for a bigger lens. :D
