So I've seen this lens on ebay and read a couple of reviews. Just wondering if any other dgrinners can shed some light on whether or not this is a good lens. One touch zoom? Focusing while zooming...so I read. How exactly does this works. I've read something about it also being called "push-pull" zoom? So there is no twisting action? I just want to make sure I am understanding this correctly.
I'm looking into a telephoto...and I'm trying to make up my mind and I think it's going to be all about cost for me.
Currently looking at....
70-300 3.5-5.6 IS
70-200 4L IS
70-200 2.8L IS (I'm dreaming)

If you can afford it, I'd strongly suggest the 70-200 f4. It's superior in speed and function.

Anyway it's very good lens, if price is right - why not ?
But if little more $ isn't a big factor - used 70-200/4L is much better choice.
One BIG thing extra - EF 70-210/4 isn't L !!!
