i am kinda new to photography, but i think i got some good stuff!
i have; Canon EOS Digital Rebel, lens=Sigma diameter=58mm range=70-300mm 1:4-5.6, Sigma diameter=55mm range=28-90mm, i also have ultravoilet and regular lens covers for both lenses, i have a cushioned carring bag, and that's about it!
oh, i am 13 years old. does this thing have a spell check?
i don't see how anybody can make even a little profit by selling pictures, any hints?
i think i might be a bit spoiled....:D :D:D
i have a DELL DIMENSION XPS GEN 4, with 2 GIG of RAM, Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.40 GHz, 300 GB hard drive type RAID 0, so i have a top of the line computer!

hope i will learn some cool stuff! try to be back tommorow!

Laughing.gif!rolleyes1.gifLaughing.gif!rolleyes1.gifLaughing.gif!rolleyes1.gif NO! 2 GIG of RAM can't be bad! it means i never get above 50% proccesing, alltho, when i used a shortcut, and opened 83 interenet exsplorer applications as fast as i could, i managed to allmost top 100%!
i also have 5.1 surround sound! and i love pretty much everything that uses a proccesor.
i learned some neat stuff from a site, like, have you heard of a Mayback? (it's a kind of car) or how about the, Chrysler ME four-twelve? bet you haven't! in a bit, i will upload pics of some neat cars, like the Chrysler ME four-twelve.(i didn't take the pics :uhoh ). i allways say when i post somebody else's stuff on my site.
has anybody heard of the, Bugatti Veyron? it has 1001 horsepower!

sadly, smugmug is only for pics, does anybody know of a place where i can upload things like Microsoft Word Documents? or files?
my fav free game is Firewall. i give a link to it, just a sec.....

Forget about the "size" of your equipment. Let's see some of your images. Why not take a drive and do some shooting? Oh, that's right...you're too young to have a license. rolleyes1.gif

Hmmm, speaking this way to a moderator who is welcoming you to the forum and encouraging you to share some pictures is probably no the best way to start off.

I looked at the pictures of the cars on your site. Did you take them?

Never mind, my guess is you wont be around long enough for me to be interested.

    David,

When you are able to post again about this time tomorrow, please try not to act so antagonistic. Digital Grin is a community of photographers who are quite serious about their work. It is not an aol chat room. There are some very talented and knowledgeable photographers here and you might want to exploit this opportunity to improve your skills.

I took a look at your gallery, a word to the wise, you have posted other's work do you have written permission to do this? I'm guessing not. Might want to remove the photo's taken by someone else off your smugmug account.

Hi David, wave.gif welcome.. some nice sports stuff and butterfly shotsclap.gif This is a great site to learn photography, at least I've found it so. Some great people too with lots of experience to learn from. Enjoy!
    Lynn
p.s. I agree with jds.. we try not to post any shots that were taken by anyone else for any reason unless we have express permission from the artist.. just like I would never take one of yours without your permission.. it's a legality/ethics thing.

Good point JDS. I checked the site, and you do have some good stuff. I would suggest taking the pictures down that are not yours, or at the very least not sell them.
