I was shooting some flag football on Sunday and while editing the pix I found these 3 shots. I consider these shots to be in the extremely lucky category of photography. I don't recall even thinking I might have caught something cool while I was shooting. I can't imagine trying to get these shots on purpose, especially in a game situation. Anyways, I love the way they turned out. Thanks for looking............John

Excellent moments! You're right, these do a very nice job of telling a story.

What is that saying about luck being hard work? Ah, found it...
"I'm a great believer in luck and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it." - Thomas Jefferson

You got lucky because you worked at it. You picked the right field position, in the right light, with the right body and lens, focused on the right spot (not easy with other players in front!), and pressed the shutter at the right time. A lesser photographer would not have gotten all of those right.
