When i start doing picture 1years ago with a D50 my goal was to do macro so I just bought my sigma 105 macro lens 4 days ago and want to test it on someting. I found that wasp in a parkink but the picture on the floor dosnt do what i really want, so i put the wasp on a hood of a car and with the reflection , that's what i did (sorry for my english, im a french spoken from Montreal).

no, the spring just start here, so the wasp was 1/2 awake.

I see -makes sense now. The wasps here are WAY too active to try to pick them up ;)

I like the reflection -very cool!

Nice colour & a great idea for a platform thumb.gif

yeah bugs are notorious about keeping their eyes clean & if a macro shows a bug with clean eyes then its geneally alive.

We dont get a winter break here..i get stung pretty much weekly all year round (work hazard). I always hope im going to build up a resistance but ..no..it does not work that way.

Hmmmmmmm headscratch.gif well I have one problem with this technique Benbo.
I have a car with a bonet, but where do I get a wasp from rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif

Nice reflection, acts like a mirror, Wasp doesn't seem too concerned about it at all.

Thanks for sharing Benbo :D .......... Skippy
