Canon 10-22mm -what do you think about ?

I'm considering a purchase Canon 10-22mm f/ 3,5-4,5 USM. :dunno
Does anybody have experience with this lens ?

    I've had it for a while now and love it. I can't wait to get over to the coast this summer and play around with it.

    I'm a big fan as well - really lets you put perspective on shots and shoot in tight quarters. Here is one of my more recent captures:

    Don't own it, but I have used it. Optics as you see are excellent. I don't care for the build--it strongly reminds me of the kit lens or 50/1.8 Mk II--shameful for a $600 lens. Another good option to look into is the Tokina 12-24/4--similar optical performance, build more reminiscent of an "L" lense, and $150-200 less expensive. Of course one differnece is the 12mm wide end vs 10mm--some think it ciritcal & huge others (myself included) don't.

    Either way you will have an excellent UWA zoom.
