Don't own it, but I have used it. Optics as you see are excellent. I don't care for the build--it strongly reminds me of the kit lens or 50/1.8 Mk II--shameful for a $600 lens. Another good option to look into is the Tokina 12-24/4--similar optical performance, build more reminiscent of an "L" lense, and $150-200 less expensive. Of course one differnece is the 12mm wide end vs 10mm--some think it ciritcal & huge others (myself included) don't.
