Softball ideas

I want to get some good shots of softball, but the game does not lend itself to photography as much as say footbell by nature of the position you have to stand (base line or outside the fence)

However, I got these shots during warm ups and am looking for ideas to help my game photos.

These are all low res since they are from a gallery I have on the net. The high res are much sharper.

I find softball to be very challenging to shoot. But I disagree about the shooting position issue. By nature, you have a lot more availability of positioning being that the fields usually aren't completely enclosed with fencing, except around the batters cage. Even there you can get some good shots thru the fence.
Keep mobile and keep shooting. You'll be surprised what you might find on the memory card when you get home!
