Have you considered allowing someone to pay a "creation" fee through the site. For instance, I offer posters and collages for sale. There is an upfront creation fee and a backend print fee. I do not want to combine these because if they want to order more than one print, I don't want them charged the creation fee twice. The only way to bulletproof this through SmugMug is if they could add a "service fee" to their cart and pay for that and then purchase the prints separately.
I noticed recently that a large competitor of Smugmugs (no name necessary) offers both single print package pricing and multiple print package pricing, exactly what I need as a sports event photographer. Heck, a few of your competitors already offer single print package pricing. I'm not pointing this out to drive people away, but rather light a fire under this issue. I know that there are plenty of other photogs on SmugMug shooting Youth Sports and I also know that the demand for packages is high in that market. Throw a dog a bone, I love your interface and ease of use, but if this doesn't change soon, my market will decide my provider for me. So get the lead out and get single print packages and multiple print packages done!

It's been asked once before, recently... have you considered using Google checkout, or paypal, to collect such a fee? It's rather easy to set up. Example on my site, www.moonriverophotography.com look at the portraits page.. Thanks, these are on our list and we'd love to have them yesterday

Thanks for listening. I know I've already asked about this, but its becoming more and more urgent for me as a provider of services to maintain my contracts and I love SmugMug's approach.
