    Thanks for the comments, everyone.

    This is hard. I spend so much time getting close only to have them fly off before I can focus on them. Either that or they go under/behind a leaf so that all I get is an out-of-focus butt shot. Today I was trying to get a really small spider. Everytime I pressed the shutter release the spider would jump with the flash and be completely out of the frame by the time the picture was taken. That's too fast for me I think.

    That's what I thought when I saw that too! Alas it's just the stamen that can't be seen.
