Finally, a nice weekend

New England finally got an enjoyable, sunny weekend this past weekend. As much as I'd love to tell you that my main focus was photography in all of that glorious light, my main focus was my family and making sure we all got out to enjoy that glorious light. We spent both days by the seashore, stopping in Essex, CT, Lyme, CT, Mystic, CT, Narragansett, RI, Newport, RI, and Charlestown, RI. It was the perfect weekend to be seaside. Sure, I brought the camera along but I didn't take a lot of shots and I didn't go hunting for interesting wildlife. Seagulls and flowers will have to do. Enjoy, be well and be happy

Hi, Steve. I'm glad you had the chance to get out in the sun with your family and to get some very nice shots at the same time. The blue flower got my attention, so did the last two shots, my favorites. thumb.gif

Nice gull shots. The light hitting the wings in that last shot is very nice.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thank you all very much for the kind words. Sorry I haven't had a chance to be online in a bit. I hope to be back and participating more regularly shortly.
