Todays Marsh Photo

Trudged through a foot deep snow a mile around the marsh to get this angle. I followed deer paths as much as possible to avoid falling in. One has to stay as close as possible to the perimeter of the water to avoid the briars and brambles; which are a royal pain (literally!).

My marsh is nicer than your marsh
My marsh doesn't have that white stuff ,it has water instead. rolleyes1.gif

Very good shot and marvelous colors.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    ...true.

The only comeback I can offer is that my marsh doesn't have any of those biting...sucking...irritating INSECTS!!! lol3.gif

Thanks, Harry. I have been shooting on the plus side for sharpness and saturation. Still have to sharpen in post though. Just seems like it's a little more responsive to editing this way. I love it when I use the eyedropper to select the white point and the value of the colors doesn't shift. Makes life easier.

A friend of mine said "shoot to the right" and I've been doing it.clap.gif

    Ric,

Nice shot, I like that it has color even though its a winter shot. Very nice!

...not much color to be found. When it's there, though, it really stands out.
