Of bees and spiders

No shots of crab spiders with lunch today -only found one and he wouldn't pose for me.

All Canon gear: Xti (manual mode F8, 1/200, ISO 100) + 1.4 teleconverter + 12mm and 25mm extension tubes (one shot at 1.6x and the others at about 2.3x) + 100mm macro lens. MR-14EX ring flash set to a 4:1 ratio and -1/3 FEC. Minimal post processing.

I've gone back to using Canon's 1.4TC because the image quality is better than the Tamron 2x (even though the later is more convenient).

    I love the bee, and the Crab Spider, could easily be mistaken for an image taken under the water, a little fish swimming past really wouldn't look all that out of place with your Spider :D ..... Skippy
