Things that haunt me!
So, a while back I tried to clean up my image. I made my site a little more pro (in progress) and culled the images that can be viewed.
I am turning my smugmug from a friends and family utility to a portfolio.
BUT. I have seen that searching my name for example will retrieve hidden private photos and consequently 'dumb down' the new image i feel its important to create.
To avoid this do I have too delete all personal hidden gallaries? Is it a shadow of former accessibility that I cannot undo.
The most bothersome 'shadow' is that on the RSS feed which still contains my 'oh -so whitty" bio that I want rid of, but obviously the feed is a good tool I want to exploit in the future when I get my head round it.
My participation on the site has been limited recently because I am sans home, on the road, Sweating.

1) some I can understand like pictures of Iran/Esfahan because I had set up a community previously that I havent closed ....Yet.
2) others like this link I dont understand because this is now a closed gallery within no community.

Maybe it will be of interest to know that I am changing the name of my site. Would this snap these "extrenuous" links and consequently wipe the slate clean. I apologise for the bad web terminology.

Google caches stuff, and so if it was ever public, well, they have it. Eventually it will fall off of Google. You can break the links by reuploading, not by changing the name of the gallery, or moving from one gallery to another. Or by changing nickname.
I'm sorry about that!
