Nice job. Bright colors, good action, clean backgrounds and faces, you make a sport shooter happy :).

You even have some interesteing perspectives, like the last shot with the plays are 3rd in focus but you can see the player rounding 2nd as well.

Your 4th shot is a great example of how to deal with less than ideal background situations. I am guessing you were on a ladder or in the stands or on top of the dugout, either way you eliminated what would of been distranting in the shot (the fans behind the fence) by moving your position and is a good example of how clean backgrounds is achievable no matter what level of the sport.

Really nice set of shots Randy. Love those expressions and the way you isolated the action. You put in a lot of effort and it shows! thumb.gif

thx for noticing....when i started this hobby i concentrated on the cam/lens 1st and now i'm on the composition phase of learning, which btw is much more difficult

These are the types of sports shooter pics I aspire to deliver. bowdown.gif

Once again, great job Randy! I've yet to shoot a game on a sunny day so I'm looking forward to that. My nephew is a high school all-star and he'll be playing in some leagues all through spring and summer, so I'm going to get plenty of practice!

    Wish me luck!

Those are great Randy. Great colors, crip shots and great expressions. Looking at your posts always makes me realize what a long way I have to go!

Did you do any color correction on that series?

    thx

if there is any red in the shot i usually don't bump color
otherwise i may bimp it 10% in Nikon Capture or use the auto button
I spend less than 30 seconds on a pic in PP
