Hey, I don't name them, I just take pictures of them. I guess when they applied for red-headed woodpecker it was already taken so they settled on red-bellied woodpecker on the name application form...

I've been waiting for this little guy to get on the feeder during the right lighting and today I finally got the shot I've been looking for.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I was telling my wife that yesterday was woodpecker day...all four kinds of woodpeckers that come through our back yard were posing nicely for my lens. If I'd known you were hunting them down, I woulda invited you over to take piccies.:D
