Last Sunday (4/22), I got to enjoy the sunshine and warm weather at Shea Stadium. I was offered my company's field box, and just couldn't pass it up, they are really good seats. :D

I was shooting with a Canon 30D and 100-400mm L. Here are a few shots...

Fred Wilpon, Met's owner, signing autographs before the game. Think you will see George do this up in the Bronx?

Carlos Delgado sharing a laugh in pre-game warmups:

The main event - Mets & Braves, Glavine & Smoltz pitching...

"Don't look at me Carlos, keep your eye on the ball!"

Bobby Cox had a little disagreement with the umpire. He got to watch the rest of the game from the clubhouse

A little chat during a pitching change.

The Mets ended up losing this one...who would think that with Glavine & Smoltz going that the teams would score 15 runs between them?
Despite the loss, it was hard to beat the day - perfect weather, great seats, a cute blonde friend along for the game...

Thanks! The SF Giants last home game is Sept. 26. The Oakland A's (right across the bay) have home games the weekend of Sept 28-30.

No offense but the Bronx boys are in a sinking ship. Using your strength conditioning coach as a scapegoat for your losing streak isn't gonna fix anything. :)

I can't really talk cause I'm an unfortunate Mariner fan. lol

haha. that pic with cox getting tossed out is something we're very used to seeing here in Georgia. Although...he's one of the best managers in baseball. if not the best.

He might be the best but the most entertaining Manager in terms of getting thrown out has got to be goodol Lou Piniella.

One instance was he dug out the 1st base bag and threw it. Turned to walk away, ran back and started kicking the bag a few more times.

    Good times......
