I happened to be on break when a pair of dolphins were putting on a show out in a creek close to Gulf Shores,AL. The sharpness isn't great as I had to crop in. The last two pics are from a fishing trip on Saturday when a pod of about 10 swam through Weeks Bay which is off of Mobile Bay.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Looks like you were in the right place at the right time, and all without an admission fee. Take that, Sea World!

Wow! What luck and great timing on those shots. Thanks for sharing. We don't see too many marine mammals around here.

Dolphins can be so taxing to photograph. Great job with these! clap.gif

Good luck on the search! I could not have lucked up any better on my shots. I have been determined to keep my camera around me at all times and it paid off with this one.

The trick to a dolphin.... Your boat must go really fast, as dolphins just love to play in the waives. Ones you spot them, slow down and watch. They might not jump up, you just got lucky!! But you will get a dophin for sure!! Done it many times, but never had camera on me. I hate to bring it close to the water. ne_nau.gif
