Are the larvae much smaller than a normal lady bug? Couldn't tell from the photos.
Also, you may need some sensor cleaning! I wish you were close by to me, we could split the costs, I know I need to clean my sensor too.

Ladybird Larvae are very unusal looking as they really don't look anything like the adult Ladybugs, they look to be an entirely different creature all together.
Those little parasites, or free loaders as you call them are common on many bugs, they get to eat and travel at the same time

this is 100% crop where there was 15 + dots looks like their gone
just some on the bottom of the senser gone from 60 + to 10 to 20 small dots
frame is the same as pic larvae pic
