Here's a few test shot from my *new* 300 2.8 + 1.4 TC.
I just wanted to see if I could go after these little dudes handholding a bigger lens...
Not tack sharp here either, but I love seeing the flaps on these flying machines
GHO still in the house
Not the best shot, but I dig the form with the lines of the trees
Nice to shoot at a larger slower flying object:D
Quick bokeh test
I still have a lot of work to do learning this bad boy...especially handheld with the 1.4xTC. I'll be trying the 2xTC soon:wink
Thanks for looking!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Mike. I'll get tired of it when you get sick of the osprey:D
Thanks Jay. When I first started attempting BIF shots 2 years ago I was pretty frustrated. My wife manages to compliment every shot I take because she's sweet and the only thing she could say about those early attempt was, "Wow, that looks less blurry!".

Thanks Ben! I'll keep my eye out for ya. Although looking for Nikon gear just feels...dirty. I even minimize every time someone walks by
