Posing Parrots

Here's some pictures I took of parrots in a local zoo, here in the Philippines. I found it very hard to keep the eye in focus as they like to move. I took a fair number of shots and these are the best ones.

The last image was supposed to be a bit of an abstract. Enjoy :D

Does anyone know the proper names for these parrots?

Great color and details. That last one is bit too soft, but the others more than make up for it. thumb.gif I have no clue as to the names, sorry.

    Hi there. Great pics!

Number one is an African Grey (great talkers!).

Number two is a blue and gold macaw.

Numbers three and four look like a male eclectus parrot.

The first three are excellent and the last is a fine learning experience. You don't grow unless you take chances.
