I have planned a trip to the lower Texas coast, South Padre, specifically for birding. My family will be at the beach while I am birding. According to Cornell, two of the hottest places in the nation to bird are there. I will be at both plus a few more. I'll be visiting Laguna Atascosa and the South Padre Convention Center Wildlife Center. I also hope to get out to Santa Ana National Refuge if I have the time. It is not the best time of year for it, but I should see some birds that I haven't seen before especially the rails. I'm pumped!

For us Birders the hot spot here on the East Coast is Cape May NJ.
The Hot Spot here in NY I guess is Montezuma.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I hope so; no where near pro caliber but I plan on trying the best I can. I just ordered my first real flash unit and a better beamer. We'll see what happens. :ivar
