    All terrific, Russ.thumb.gif

The detail of the antenna in the "on the hand" shot is amazing. Which lens did you use?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Spetacular shots! Not too much more to say. Wait, that second one is incredible! Okay, that's it. Wait, that one picture just above and the other one just below the yellow skipper shot are both fantastic! Okay, that is it. Wait..... bowdown.gifwink

    Thanks Ben
Even though we have to make a bigger effort at getting the shot there's really no substitute for the natural habitat, it just feels better.

    Thanks Ric,
I used the EF100mm F2.8 macro for all of these shots except for the last one (in the wild), I used the EF300 F4 + 1.4TC

Thanks Jeff, this flash setup seems to work great for small objects.
I was happy for the opportunity to use it outside of my garden.
Jeff, where were you looking that you missed the "Buckeye"eek7.gif .
Ok, I cheated :cry , the "from above" was from last years' exhibit.
I thought it worked better than this one:

Sorry, Dallas seemed more illusive to than the BIF Ben capturedrolleyes1.gif

I appreciate the accolade William although I think you're more deserving of it.
Thanks for reminding us of the butterfly exhibit and the opportunity to redeem myself from last year's shortcomings :D
It was fun, lets do it again

Very nice range of shots, Russ--from the field shot to the facial shot to the wing scales.
