how much usm?

we use the ezprints.icc profile to proof color shifts that may occur when a file is printed by ezprints. it occurs to me that i could 'proof' the sharpening as well.
when i upload photos to smugmug, how much usm is applied to onscreen versions of my photos. if it scales, then how much is applied for different sized versions.
similiarly, how much usm is applied to various print sizes when they are ordered?
and btw, who applies this round of sharpening? is it smugmug applying sharpening before it is sent to ezprints, or is it ezprint applying the sharpening?

steve just got through my thick skull on that issue. thanks for answering andy.
feedback: there must be a better term than "auto color" and "true color". i now understand that TRUE means that NO changes are made, and AUTO means that color, sharpness, contrast, etc. is changed. i think i was finding this hard to comprehend because why would something named "auto or true COLOR" (http://smugmug.jot.com/WikiHome/PrintingAutoOrTrueColor) have anything to do with sharpening. does that make sense? just a suggestion from someone who just went through the learning curve but didn't have to.
one more thing, i'm just talking about clarifying the issue in a white paper or in your pro accounts help section. your site is wonderful, it just seems like a little bit of info would go a long way.
