OK Here is my attempt for LPS 5
'In the Shadow of Liberty'
This is pretty much from the camera with only a conversion from RAW to JPG. Does it work as is or should I crop on just the statue?
Exif info here
The time is off due to the fact that I did not change it in the camera when I arrived in New York from Iowa :doh
Either way I like it as is and will be printing a copy for myself

Yep, verticle it is.
Would slight dodging of waves at the base enhance this image?

I have to admit that I have been leaning towards the vertical myself (does this mean I walk at an angle most of the time.......might account for somethings ). I wll crop and repost later tonight.
I will also investigate the waves, either cropping them out of dodging them

Andy,
dodging would give more character and set it apart from less enthusiastic silhouetters
