A group of 6 of us went to the North Shore for a couple of days to see if we could get a few good shots.
The group has 3 Dgrinners, Swartzy, Grimace and myself, plus 3 guys from another forum.
Other than very little sleep, (up at 4:00 both days) it was a fun trip.

We made it to a half dozen waterfalls, 3 lighthouses, and quite a few cool hiking trails.
It was an enjoyable trip.

On to the pics.

    Thanks Dave.

I guess there were some fires going on in the BWCA area the day after we were up there. But I don't know how much damage has been done.

Man, you're just making me want to skip work and hit the BWCA for a week or two. Great work!

Very nice. BWCA is definitely on my list of must-visit places and now I can see why! It ain't the fishing (for me anyway)-- it's the landscape shooting. Great series.

lighthouse morning 2, that purple and red, was that the actual sky color or did you colorize it somehow? seems unreal!

That is the color. This shot is taken a few minutes before sunrise.
I may have darken the shot, or maybe a minus EV setting, but those are the colors that were captured.
