I woke up about 3am, thought I'd check dgrin before going back to sleep. I've spent the last couple hours looking through Ginger's photos reflecting on the sad news. It feels inappropriate to post photos right now. I greatly appreciated her presence here in the Contests and Challenges forum, my favorite place to hang out.
However, since I'm wide awake.....here are two photos that I thought might be appropriate for this challenge. Maybe my fellow dgrinners could help me choose (or even offer comments/suggestions)?

I would try cleaning some of the stuff in the upper LH corner up.
Though the composition already looks good, you can also try experimenting with a crop that zeros in on the base of the tulip where the light is hitting it.

I know that brain dead feeling...
Off the mark, I've been wanting to ask you how you got/created the legs pic you submitted in a prior LPS to have the relatively uniform mottling?
While most photogs wont care, that pattern was reminiscent of pictures I've seen of rock impressions of dinosaur skin.
See, I told you so...
But, Tessa of that gorgeous bridge shot, I would still like to know.

Hi Joe,
Thanks for the compliment. I was inspired by something I saw about 3 years ago. I didn't know how he did it, but after I bought photoshop, I think I figured it out. I took a photo of a concrete sidewalk that had strange 'veins' in it. I layed it over the legs and erased what I didn't want. I worried it was to much processing for the challenge, but I obviously went ahead with it. Definitely outside of my box!

Thank you for your input.
Were you thinking of a tighter crop like this?

When I get home from work I'll try to remove those lines. I think they were from a tree.

But it's your call as to which one you submit. Personally I don't think you'll go wrong with either one.

Now we might disagree - but since I show dinosaurs to children in museums, in the Bisti Badlands, and in slide shows, the strength of the visual was compelling.
That being the case, keep an open mind. I am really finding quite a stretch between LPS interactions and camera club secnarios.
I will look forward to your future impressions as well.
