Unbelieveable sky last night...

Hey Everyone,

I happend to be out on Shore Drive near Brenton Point in Newport, RI last night taking some shots. On my way back I saw the most awesome red sky. It was amazing...

    Beautiful captures! These photos look majestic!

    I haven't seen any of that in Arkansas, or Washington, DC.
    Are those skies a coastal thing?

    The fundimental flaw with these pictures is that I didn't take them. :D

    Those are truly some fine shots there. I like the first one best with the lights on the bridge.

    It largely depends on air-polution. The more particles there are in the sky, the redder it looks. Below is one shot on the Charles River in downtown Boston.
