I've made some searches on the stacking procedure but can't find anything relating to software for a mac. Can you give me a few clues please ?

Focus stacking on a mac- you can use heliconfocus (just google for it) think it comes with a 30day free trial but it is commercial. Only other thing I've seen is this http://bigwww.epfl.ch/demo/edf/ which I think is a plugin for imagej.

I love the last two Brian, they remind me of blown glass, they look like abstract pieces of art work, or some kind of molten glass feature

Really amazing focus and subject. I especially like the close ups in the 4th and 5th pictures.

Nice stuff Brian. The last two look like something out of an electron scanning microscope showing neural brain synapses or something.
