On the way to the marsh this female mallard was admiring a BMW that just flew by...but alas...she only had a Kia!

Then there was a gathering of geese at a pond for a little sing-a-long ♪ ♫ ♪ ...

Green Heron spying breakfast.

Of course, White-tails are always curious.

This Red Winged Blackbird was taking pleasure in nipping the tail feathers of a Sandhill Crane that was in his territory.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Thanks, Harry. :D

I missed the butt nips changing to portrait in order to get the whole crane in the shot.

Nice series. I too like the interaction between the red winged blackbird and the crane. Actually, I suppose the crane really isn't "interacting" :D

The mallard hen has some nice detail in it.

My favorite though is the heron syping its snack!
