Hi Everyone.

This is my first post to the forum. I enjoy mostly action wildlife shots (eagles, hawks and anything moving).

I took these photos over a three day period last week while getting used to my new Canon 500mm f4. This Osprey was incredible to watch (and to photo). He (she) was an EXPERT fisherman. Each time it only took a matter of minutes to make the catch.

I am posting some pictures and the link to the full gallery. I missed him going into the water but got him coming out and he was struggling with the size of this larged mouth bass.

Hope you enjoy.. Chris (PrescottPhotog)

Welcome to Dgrin and thanks for sharing your osprey pics. Nice series. That's one large bass. That "fishing" shot is a tough one to capture...as these birds dive at a pretty good rate of speed. Looking forward to seeing it ...when you land it. thumb.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Great shots. I hope to have a lens long enough to capture pics like that.
