What we are willing to do under the drive of hormones.rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif

Those chicks are faces that only a mother could love Harry.:D Usually young children are much morer photogenic that their parents, but that is not true here. The images are lovely, but the chicks are kind of rangy, aren't they?

    Lovely series of shots.

Have you got your contest winning shot there yet?

Thank you Stephen and those are great egret chicks, the snowies hadn't hatched as of my last visit two weeks ago.

I envy you your vantage point Harry. The GBH chicks have hatched here but to get a good angle on them you need at least 600mm, and then you would still be cropping. It was fun to watch them fighting in the nest though. One of them was really wailing away at the smaller one.

Nice shots Harry - its good to see the wood storks get at least a few month till they turn ugly.

Do you guys have the wildfire smoke over there? Here in Tampa, they have cancelled outdoor sports and activities. Yesterday, I couldn't see across the street from my office in the morning. The sun is just an orange ball in the sky now and its 11am.

Wierd......I'll try and get a shot.

The Alligator Farm gives t=you some good close views of the nests. The younger siblings always have a struggle to survive the harrassment of its older siblings.
