Just got back from honeymoon. We stayed on the North Shore at Turtle Bay. Durring some "down" time, we managed to fall in love with the north shore, and take some of these shots.

My first post.... be kind

Thanks,
Daryl

Hello Daryl. wave.gif Great first post!

Your first photo presented, and the second to last: You got "God beams" (Marc Muench term) in the shot! I'm jealous. And a good composition on the first.

The second sunrise (sunset?) shot looks over-cooked (oversaturated) to me. I find those not easy to look at.

The Arizona memorial was one of the more somber and unique places I have visited. For a spot that had well over a hundred people milling around it at the time, it was near silent. Was your shot taken from the shuttle boat trip over to it, or from the shore area?

The Arizona memorial shot was taken on the boat ride over. It was a truly unique experience!

The sunset shot was kinda "blah", so I oversaturated it after. I like the effect but to each thier own :)
