Hey Gus the RRP is $1,099.00 so it is competative with the EPSON P5000
as it is only a recommended price clap.gif ... Skippy

For that price can you mount an EF lens on it too? I think they are really limiting their market by only supporting Canon RAW, jpg, and tif photo formats. But it does have some really nice features. You can set a password for security, magnesium alloy body, uses the same battery as the 20D, 30D, and 5D, data verification during card download. But that price is really steep. Can I buy yours in a year when the price plummets?

Aren't potential new toys way too fun!! If you get one let us know how you like it. I'm looking for something new since my P-2000 seems to be unreliable.

I've been hotly anticipating and beginning to wonder if this would ever release. 914 dollar RRP is just insane...this won't sell unless it is less than an XTi Body, so I say it should retail for like 650. And at 650 I'll buy one and have it shipped from AU. To me it only has 2 features, RAW support and battery sharing with my 20D/30D.
