This might be my first challenge entry after lots of lurking.

I've been having lots of fun with blurry surfing photos but I wonder if I don't need more definition in the kelp.

    Sharpen Surfer?

    Welcome, JJ aka Lurker,

    Interesting image!

The left leg alerted me; the surfer is out of focus, as if you did not partially sharpen.

Would sharpening just the surfer strengthen this image.

What part of this image seems translucent to you [most of it is not?]

Keep it up and dont let the goblins get you...

    Thanks for the feedback!

The problem with the left leg is more from motion than focus. It was taken with a pretty slow shutter speed (1/10th sec) and there was a lot of motion. I was happy to get the hand and face relatively still. I'll have to see wht I can do about the leg.

The translucence is in the face of the wave, with the silhouette of the kelp inside.
