Baltimore Oriole

Been chasing Baltimore Orioles for the last two weeks and just have not been able to get a good shot of one. Today I went to Lake Thunderbird and found a good spot to sit. I heard a Prothonotary warbler and several Painted buntings but no Baltimore Oriole. Then out of nowhere I heard a reply from my tape and there he was. I was able to get several good images and this is one of them.

    Congratulations for your hard fought effort, an excellent reward. We have a Bullock's Oriole in the area so I know how difficult they can be as evidenced by my lack of an image to show. An excellent photo all around. thumb.gifthumb.gifthumb.gif
