    Do you have the 300mm with IS or without? 1/100th of a second might be a bit slow for the focal length and could rob you of sharpnessthumb.gif

    It is the "IS", but right now I can't remember if I had it on or not! rolleyes1.gif
    background looks a tad strange though
    The background is a white wall like this. This one looks a bit darker for some reason. Maybe the wire mesh, or the exposue is slower on this shot.
