    BIG Congrats to all that didn't make it, do not be discouraged, even though the judges didn't think your photo made the cut, there are still those that like it, for beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!!

    On to the Semi's...Whoohoooo....WE GET TO VOTE. I only hope and my
    biggest wish is that voting will be based on Composition, Quality, and Tecs...and not based on favoritism or popularity...cuz that would be a discouragement and a total bummer!! I say this cuz it is human nature to always support your favorite photographer. I have seen in other contests where someone has posted the worst photo but due to "popularity" they rec'd the most votes....I really hope this does not happen here, be honest with your minds eye and not to loyalty!

    With that said...GOOD LUCK TO THE SEMI FINALISTS and may your eyes behold what the Great Spirit lays before you!!

    This competition was tough! These rounds were interesting because you actually get to see your competition. That's not been the case in any of other exhibits in which I've taken part.

    I was just noticing this myself... and not only 90% silhouettes, but if you just look at the thumbnails, 6 out of 10 are predominantly orange or red silhouettes.

    Surprising.


    But anyway, the Finalists gallery has been updated. I must say, it is quite a stunning collection. Congrats to all!

    I have been on vacation in a place that had no internet connection and it has killed me to not be able to check in to Dgrin.....WOW...I am soooooo excited and thrilled!!! wings.gifwings.gifclapclap.gifclaprolleyes1.gifroflrolleyes1.gif

    Thank you to the judges...I am so pleased you like the photo and to those who critiqued it ......mucho gracias!! Now I must go see the critique of all of the entries. This comforts me after my wallet "going missing"....a bummer at the end of a wonderful vacation.

    Wow....got a week to get caught up....how exciting! Good luck to all....but not tooo much!!!
