Coffee is my life

Until a couple of years ago I have never drunk coffee. Now it is a daily ritual. Sydney has quite a lot of coffee shops, admittedly some better than others. I took this photograph on my way from work to the train station. Even on a weekday there seem to be quite a few people who stay back in the city, socialise a bit, have some time to themselves like this gentleman or simply have fun with friends.

I like the black and white treatment on this shot. I like outdoor cafe shots in general...something we don't see very often in North Dakota.
    C and C always welcome.

This part of Sydney almost never goes to sleep. This is where the cinema complexes are, its close to lots of pubs and China Town. Not to mention multitude of foreign students living in the apartments all around. It's a lively place.

Thanks Damon. I have seen this man there few times but it was always way too dark to take a shot until now.

Another beautiful image to your already wonderful set of street shots! thumb.gifthumb.gif

I like this one a lot. It 'flows' well (vantage point, the parasols leading towards the guy). The B&W is very well done.
I can't grasp the notion of time.

When I hear the earth will melt into the sun,
    in two billion years,
    all I can think is:
"Will that be on a Monday?"
