    Jerry,

    Your shots look good. Nice DOF and good color. Try watching your backgrounds. I know this is hard at some of the tournaments. Seems like wherever you stand there is something in the background. The third shot, shooting from the back usually doesn't work. If there is some great action or you know the player personally sometimes you can get away with it. I'm still learning myself so take this for what its worth.

    Really nice shots, some fields are terrible so no matter what you do the backgrounds are just gonna suck, even with a 2.8 lens if they are close enough to the crowd on the sideline you end up with grandma or the trash cans right where you dont want them.....

    I agree with vt1122 100% about any shot from the back or pretty much any angle if you cant see faces. Unless there is something really strange, weird or just plain crazy awesome about the image its a wasted shot without a face.
