Hello everyone,

For an online photoshop course (through PPSOP) i had an assignment for creating some 'Film Noir' like pictures.

C&C is welcome! :D

It is a picture of one of the old 'mob' cars. It is part of an exhibit at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA:

Here a version with some fog/smoke from behind the car:

I can't grasp the notion of time.

When I hear the earth will melt into the sun,
in two billion years,
all I can think is:
"Will that be on a Monday?"

Like the first one very much. Great tones in the metal of the car and a fine job on the transition from dark to bright. Wonderful overall feel that something is going to happen (or has) and it ain't good. Always a staple in noir.

The second one is okay, but the fog looks a bit contrived to me. It also makes the bg too light, IMHO, and you lose the feeling of foreboding and mystery, which I think really works in the first version.

Very nice job with this assignment.
