Hi folks, I went down town on my way to work looking for something to take a picture of,
but the weather was not so good which is a good thing really cause we so
desperately need the rain :D .

So I walked and looked.... always looking looking... more looking :D
I looked to the left, and looked to the right and ended up on the other side of the street :rofl how bout that hey hehehe :rolleyes

Anyways I ended up at the old National Australia Bank Building.
Behold I give you ........ THE BANK, which is now a Restaurant.

I love my Canon 10-22mm I tell you I love it :lust .... Skippy

I really like this angle & composition! clap.gif Inspiring confidence that you could get a good meal there.
I bet they have one of the largest and safest refrigerator or wine storage areas (vault conversion)

Oops forgot to ask - Did you use fill flash here?

    Take care,

Hi Deanna ... no flash used, actually I've never been inside it since it became a Restaurant, I have a very clear memory of what it was like inside, as I once used to do Banking there many many many moons ago.

Thats funny about having the safest refrigerator hahaha rolleyes1.gif

Yes the clouds are real, this is one shot edited 3 times then put together as you do HDR with PhotoMatix Pro.

After the program merges the three images into ONE,
I then edit it some more in PhotoShop.

    Thanks for looking....... Skippy

Thanks Jim, that buildings face is directly on a corner of two streets,

Hi Chris, no filters, no flash.
What I did was take one shot.
In photoshot I edited the shot THREE Times, by changing the Exposure Value.

So I had one at -1 one at 0 and one at +1.
Then I put all three images into PhotoMatix Pro which merged them all together as I image.

I manipulated it within PhotoMatix Pro, enhancing the colour etc.
After that I saved it, then loaded it into PhotoShop where I edited it some more.

The colours in the image are heavily saturated the sky should not be that colour its just a normal light blue.

The post processing probably makes you think I used a filter, but I didn't.

Hope this helps explain how I did it Chris :D .... Skippy

Thank you, well we are having really weird weather here,
quite a bit of rain, but not enough to break the drought,
its hot and cold and raining and plants are starting to come out that shouldn't be as we are about to go into Winter, but the plants think its spring.

I can see my fruit trees are starting to bud, and they shouldn't be.

Sky was almost like a smoke effect I guess you'd say :D
The Canon 10-22mm is excellent for shooting tall buildings.
