It is the purpose of life that each of us strives to become actually what he is potentially. We should be obsessed with stretching towards that goal through the world we inhabit.

Ahhhh!! There they are! :D GREAT set, Lynne. I really liked #'s 3, 4, 9, 10, 13 and I also like the striking black and white of #2. Looks like you had a beautiful couple in a beautiful location, including great skies (the clouds in 4 almost look a veil a blowing in the wind and they really add to the shots in 9 & 10). Congrats on such a successful event! clap.gif

thanks elaine!! It was definitely a challenge lighting wise but I learned a ton. They were extremely photogenic, which helps immensely!

I also favor #2 for some weird reason. headscratch.gif glad i'm not totally insane.

I have to go along with the B&G....I love the last shot! iloveyou.gif Still like the beach shots, too. You done good! Now.....tell us how you dealt with the outdoors spotty-shady courtyard. It looks like a nightmare to shoot in. Did you use flash?

thanks Saurora! the first set of bride were on the ocean, and the 2nd set w/ the couple were on the sound...it was kinda neat to shoot two beaches in one day.

Here's the EXIF on #7. I used on-camera flash for light fill, and just left it on auto WB and exposure, ISO 100, knowing I'd have to do some work on it in LR. Lazy, I know but I am still trying to get the hang of outdoor bright sun shooting. The shadows weren't as much of an issue as the horrid green color casts. Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Lynne,

    those are great!

More than a few are really really really good, I don't think I can adequately comment on all I've liked, so let's throw in a few examples, like the excellent composition on #4, and the kiss shot... now that one's really special!

Congrats on a job well done! clap.gif
    And thanks for sharing!
    Take care!

    evoryware, bob, thiago...

thanks for the kind words and encouragement. I have a looooong way to go on my exposure and lighting skills, as well as skin tones in PP, I am really bad at that (just ask Andy!) but glad to see i'm going in the right direction.
