Finally got the release from the bride, so here's a baker's dozen of faves from this lovely wedding in Monteo, NC. C&C welcome as always. Thanks for looking!
1. the trusty daughter getting things ready...and the monkey boy son
2. brides brother chillin like a villain
3.
4. I just love photogenic brides.
5.
6. A bit blown, but my fave expression from him...
7. this looks better in BW, just wanted to show how beautiful yet horrific the setting was to shoot.
8.
9. I just ordered the Copper Hill mega jumbo kit, rest assured.
10.
11. The bride calls this one "secret garden"
12. Color bleach effect preset in Lightroom...
13. Their favorite of themselves, a good place to end.

thanks elaine!! It was definitely a challenge lighting wise but I learned a ton. They were extremely photogenic, which helps immensely!
I also favor #2 for some weird reason. glad i'm not totally insane.

thanks Saurora! the first set of bride were on the ocean, and the 2nd set w/ the couple were on the sound...it was kinda neat to shoot two beaches in one day.
Here's the EXIF on #7. I used on-camera flash for light fill, and just left it on auto WB and exposure, ISO 100, knowing I'd have to do some work on it in LR. Lazy, I know but I am still trying to get the hang of outdoor bright sun shooting. The shadows weren't as much of an issue as the horrid green color casts. Any advice greatly appreciated.

those are great!
More than a few are really really really good, I don't think I can adequately comment on all I've liked, so let's throw in a few examples, like the excellent composition on #4, and the kiss shot... now that one's really special!
Congrats on a job well done!
And thanks for sharing!
Take care!

thanks for the kind words and encouragement. I have a looooong way to go on my exposure and lighting skills, as well as skin tones in PP, I am really bad at that (just ask Andy!) but glad to see i'm going in the right direction.
