Zion.....I blew it

Some of you may recall that I was going to Vegas on business and was going to make a trip to Zion. The plan was to leave Vegas at 3:00am and make it to Zion for sunrise and stay for sunset. Sin City got the better of my. I didn't make it out of town untill 11:00am and it was close to 3:00pm before I got to Zion. Now I had to rush through to see the park and did not have time to do any hikes to the good spots. While what I did see was pretty amazing I'm disapointed that I did not get to any really good vistas.
On a brighter note, I did have a hell of a good time in Vegas :slurp
Here is a link to my shots of Zion. Try to stay awake while viewing. :rolleyes

Thanks greaper. Someday I'll get back there and do it right. Maybe I'll fly into Salt Lake City instead. :D

I'm sorry you had such a brief time in Zion, but you got some great keepers. I love the scale of no. 13 and the canyon no. 16

    Cheers for sharing

I thought "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas".

My thoughts on Zion. I was so impressed with it that I actually looked into moving to Springdale, UT and becoming a shuttle bus driver for the park service so I would have some income while I shot. It is still a silly idea.

Thanks Stan. Honestly, I was partying so hard in Vegas I did not get one shot worth posting. I let off a lot of steam in Vegas. Felt good. :ivar
